First Annual Chalk the Block @ EastonPosted Oct 23, 2012Tagged
Chalk the Block was a two day event featuring artists decorating the Town Square at Easton Town Center with unique and colorful temporary artworks.
Forty artists worked to create 6′ or 10′ designs while listening to the music of a half dozen musical acts. A featured space allowed an interactive component where the audience will be asked to participate in the creation of a community drawing. The event attracted even more people than anticipated, and artist/organizer Adam Brouillette reported that due to the enthusiasm of the local retailer, the event will happen again in 2013, Stay updated on Chalk the Block’s Facebook page to submit artwork to be included in next year’s event.

I’m looking forward to seeing the Venice Biennale in Italy next week! After dreaming of visiting this city with streets of water, and historical magic, I’m looking forward to being inspired by artists’ work from around the world.
